ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL
Paris Mudd and United Artists are co-producing this new film with the team of Terry Zwigoff (director) and Daniel Clowes (screenwriter). Terry and Dan were the collaborators on their film, GHOST WORLD, starring Thora Birch and Scarlett Johanson. They were nominated for Oscars for their work Ghost World. Lianne Halfon is the full time producer for this film, with the usual suspects of John and Russ handling backup for her.
Art School stars Max Minghella, Jim Broadbent, Angelica Huston, Sophia Myles and John Malkovich.
The film has been shooting in LA since July 13 and will continue until September. There is no release date yet, but United will announce dates sometime in early 2005. Working with Danny Rosett of UA on this film has also been one of the highlights of my brief (yet beginning) career in filmmaking. We hope to work together on many projects over the next few years.
